Carnival Tour
Full Day Sugar Loaf, Corcovado and City Center, Group Tour

8 Hours | Tour Code: CAR-SLCR-FD

From the pick-up point, we will drive to Cosme Velho, where we will board the charming train for the ride through Tijuca Forest up to the Corcovado Mountain. Upon arrival at the top we will have mechanized access, with panoramic elevators and escalators that will take us to the foot of the statute (located at 2.300ft above sea level). There, passengers will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is called the "Marvelous City". The statue of Christ the Redeemer has recently been acclaimed one of the new seven world's wonders. On the way back we will drive along Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon to Ipanema, where we will have a delicious lunch. Then, we will head to the second part of the tour starting with a visit to the city center, with a quick stop at the city's cathedral. From there we will make our way towards another Rio postcard: the Sugar Loaf Mountain. Rising up from a small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, the tour is done in two steps by panoramic cable-cars. The first part takes us to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters (705 feet) above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its islands. From Urca Hill, we will continue on another cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level, offering a 360-degree view of the city, from Botafogo to Copacabana Beaches, the Corcovado and downtown Rio.
